JOB DESCRIPTION – JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, billing, banking transactions, GST compliance, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally accounting software and a good understanding of accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions using Tally.
- Prepare sales invoices, purchase bills, and other billing documents.
- Handle e-invoicing and e-way bill generation.
- Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage banking transactions, bank reconciliations, and payment follow-ups.
- Assist with GST return preparation and filing.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Verify invoices, vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and accounting records.
- Assist with monthly account closing and preparation of financial reports.

Educational Qualifications

- Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.





Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally accounting software.
- Practical experience in billing, e-invoicing, and e-way bill generation.
- Knowledge of GST returns and statutory compliance.
- Experience in banking transactions and bank reconciliation.
- Good data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic MS Office applications.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.

Language Requirements

Preference will be given to candidates who can communicate in:

- English
- Tamil
- Telugu
- Hindi

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates currently residing in or near Kolathur, Chennai, are preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
- Candidates should be responsible, organized, and capable of working independently.

Salary and Benefits

- Salary: Up to ₹4.2 LPA, depending on experience and skills.
- Full-time employment.

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
