Job Description: AutoCAD Draughtsman – Interior Fit-Out & Furniture

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed furniture shop drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, dimensions, joinery details, and construction specifications.

* Develop accurate interior working drawings and fit-out drawings based on approved design drawings.

* Prepare technical and execution drawings for furniture manufacturing, fabrication, and on-site implementation.

* Interpret design drawings and translate them into precise, dimensionally accurate technical drawings.

* Demonstrate a sound understanding of materials, hardware, joinery, furniture construction methods, and interior detailing.

* Coordinate with interior designers, vendors, production teams, and site teams to ensure smooth execution.

* Incorporate revisions based on technical requirements, vendor feedback, and actual site measurements.

* Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, technical standards, and execution requirements.

* Maintain accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all drawings.

Skills & Requirements

* Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.

* Practical experience in preparing furniture shop drawings and interior execution drawings.

* Good understanding of furniture detailing, joinery, materials,



hardware, and fabrication methods.

* Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.

* Robust understanding of dimensions, sections, elevations, and construction detailing.

* Ability to coordinate effectively with design, production, vendor, and site teams.

* Attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate drawings within project timelines.

Experience

* 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior drafting, furniture detailing, and fit-out drawings.

* Experience in residential interiors and luxury interior projects will be an added advantage.

Important Note

This is a drafting-focused technical role, not an interior design position. The candidate must have hands-on experience in preparing detailed furniture shop drawings and interior working drawings for execution.

Design conceptualisation, creative design development, and space planning are not part of the primary responsibilities. The role requires a technically proficient draughtsman who can convert approved designs into accurate, detailed, and execution-ready drawings.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
