JECRC University NCR Campus in Alwar is hiring a skilled Physics Lab Assistant / Technician. In this role, you will manage the daily operations of the physics laboratory, handle scientific optics and electronics kits, maintain inventory, and guide undergraduate students through practical experiments.

- Location: JECRC University, NCR Campus II, Matsya Industrial Area (MIA), Alwar, Rajasthan
- Experience Required: 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in a university, college, or premium senior secondary school physics lab.
- Compensation: ₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month (Fixed inline with credentials)
- Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

- Lab Setup: Calibrate and arrange physics lab setups (e.g., Spectrometers, Prism experiments, Newton's rings, Galvanometers, and Semiconductor kits) before classes and university exams.
- Inventory Control: Track and manage laboratory supplies, log glass breakage, and securely store precision optical/electronic components.
- Student Support: Help students safely assemble circuits, take precise vernier/screw gauge readings, and document practical findings accurately.
- Equipment Upkeep:



Maintain darkroom setups, ensure correct power supply parameters to prevent kit damage, and coordinate technical repairs when needed.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure students follow general lab guidelines, manage high-voltage setups safely, and maintain the campus lab room cleanliness.

Requirements

- Education: B.Sc. (with Physics as a major subject),
- Experience: 1–4 years of hands-on technical work inside an academic physics lab setting.
- Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with basic physics apparatus, components handling (resistors, diodes, lenses), and circuit multi-meters.
- Soft Skills: Robust discipline, reliable data bookkeeping, and a collaborative mindset to assist professors.
