Role overview

AGBS Bangalore is seeking an Assistant Professor in Human Resource Management to teach, mentor students, contribute to academic research, and support the department’s academic activities.

Key responsibilities

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in HRM and related areas.
- Prepare course plans, teaching materials, assessments, and examination papers.
- Use relevant case studies, projects, and industry examples to support learning.
- Mentor students and guide their academic and professional development.
- Conduct research and contribute to publications, conferences, and academic initiatives.
- Participate in curriculum development, accreditation,



and departmental activities.
- Support institutional events, student engagement, and industry interaction.

Required qualifications and experience

- PhD in Human Resource Management, Human Resources, Organizational Behaviour, or a closely related discipline is mandatory.
- 5–20 years of relevant academic and/or industry experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in HRM and the ability to teach effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and student mentoring skills.
- Research, publication, and industry engagement experience will be an advantage.
