Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, payroll accounting, statutory compliance, and financial analysis across our diverse business portfolio.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening internal controls, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring timely financial reporting. This position requires strong accounting expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and international stakeholders.

Candidates with experience across multiple industries and an interest in developing their knowledge of international accounting practices will be particularly well suited to this role.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting and Financial Reporting

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely closure of financial books.
- Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.

2. Financial Planning and Analysis

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Analyse financial performance, operating costs, profitability, and cash flow.
- Provide meaningful financial insights to support management decision-making.
- Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.

3. Taxation, Compliance and Audit





- Ensure timely preparation and filing of applicable tax returns, statutory returns, and compliance reports.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure the availability of supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate financial records and appropriate audit documentation.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of internal financial controls.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, taxation, and applicable regulatory requirements.

4. International Stakeholder Coordination

- Coordinate with international stakeholders on financial reporting, accounting matters, and compliance requirements.
- Communicate financial updates, queries, and reports clearly and professionally.
- Follow up on outstanding matters and resolve financial discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with teams across different locations to maintain consistent financial processes and reporting standards.

5. Payroll and Accounting Operations

- Oversee or support payroll processing, payroll reconciliations, and related accounting entries.
- Ensure accurate recording of payroll expenses and applicable statutory deductions.
- Coordinate with HR and other departments on payroll-related accounting matters.

6. Team Management

- Supervise, mentor, and guide accounting team members.
- Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Promote accuracy, accountability, and continuous professional development within the team.

7. Process Improvement and Internal Controls

- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and process optimisation.
- Standardise financial reporting processes and strengthen accounting practices across business operations.





Required Qualifications and Experience

- CA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- 5–8+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience working across multiple industries or business environments.
- Robust knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory filing requirements.
- Familiarity with UAE and US accounting practices, taxation, and compliance requirements is an advantage.
- Experience in payroll accounting and related processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in international accounting and compliance requirements.
