Core Responsibilities

- Load Assessment & Calculations: Evaluate the weight, shape, dimensions, and center of gravity of multi-ton steel modules, bulkheads, or ship engines before any lift is attempted.
- Gear Inspection & Selection: Inspect, test, and choose appropriate lifting tackle—including wire ropes, synthetic slings, shackles, chain falls, and spreader bars—rated for exact tonnage demands.
- Rigging & Attachment: Securely attach slinging devices and grappling hardware to ship components, ensuring balanced weight distribution to prevent shifting or swinging during transit.
- Crane & Hoist Coordination: Direct gantry, tower, or mobile crane operators using standardized hand signals, radio communication, or loud-hailers during blind or complex lifts.
- Erection & Assembly Support: Assist structural fabricators and fitters in positioning, aligning, and temporary anchoring of hull blocks, decks, and superstructures.
- Safety & Compliance: Monitor wind speeds, transparent personnel from drop zones, and adhere strictly to maritime and occupational safety standards (such as OSHA or local classification rules).

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
