We are looking for an experienced and responsible Food Technologist & Product Development Head to manage product development, quality control, production standards, and food safety compliance. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in the food industry, particularly in food product formulation, quality assurance, product testing, and manufacturing processes.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining product quality, developing new products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring that all products meet the required quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage product development, formulation, and improvement of existing food products.
- Conduct product trials, taste testing, and quality evaluations.
- Monitor product quality at every stage, from raw material inspection to finished product dispatch.
- Establish and implement quality control (QC) procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations, food safety standards, hygiene requirements, and applicable documentation.
- Inspect raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products.
- Maintain batch records, quality reports, product specifications, and testing documentation.
- Monitor production processes to ensure consistency in taste, texture, appearance, and product quality.
- Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage shelf-life studies, product stability checks, and storage condition evaluations.
- Support the development of new food products,



ingredient combinations, and improved formulations.
- Conduct internal quality checks and support food safety audits.
- Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices across production and packaging areas.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in food technology, product development, or quality control.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
- Practical knowledge of food product formulation, processing, quality testing, and food safety.
- Knowledge of FSSAI requirements, GMP, GHP, HACCP principles, and quality documentation.
- Experience in managing product QC, raw material inspection, and finished product evaluation.
- Understanding of shelf-life testing, batch consistency, and product stability.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to independently manage product quality and coordinate with production teams.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in honey, syrups, food products, nutraceuticals, or FMCG food manufacturing will be preferred.

The candidate should be capable of taking ownership of product quality, developing recent products, maintaining manufacturing standards, and ensuring consistent quality across all batches.
