ABOUT DURABLE POLYMERS:

Durable Polymers is a Lucknow-based manufacturer of PU foam, silicone foam, non-woven fibre, and engineered polymer components for Indian Railways, automotive OEMs, and industrial clients. We operate fully in-house — design, tooling, production, and testing — across 250,000 sq ft of manufacturing space.

ROLE IN ONE LINE:

Own all store operations — procurement planning, vendor development, inventory control, scrap and outsourcing management, and team leadership across a team of 4–6.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversee daily store operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Plan and procure goods; prepare purchase orders and track deliveries. Develop new vendors; evaluate existing vendors on pricing, reliability, and compliance.
- Manage all outsourced job work — issue, tracking, and return. Handle rejected material — identification, segregation, and timely return to vendors.
- Manage scrap in the factory — categorisation, recording, and disposal. Lead a team of 4–6 store staff; assign tasks and enforce SOPs.
- Coordinate with production, accounts,



and security for material and manpower movement. Track and log all inventory on company ERP system.
- Prepare monthly stock reports, weekly consumables reports, and management summaries.

MUST HAVE:

- Graduate — any discipline
- MS Excel and Word — working proficiency
- Tally or ERP — store transaction management
- Minimum 5 years in stores or procurement in a manufacturing facility
- Experience managing a team

VALUABLE TO HAVE:

- Prior experience in PU foam, fibre, or component-based manufacturing
- Vendor development and negotiation experience
- Familiarity with scrap management and outsourced job work processes

NUMBERS THAT MATTER:

- Leads store team of 4–6 people
- Monthly stock reports and weekly consumables reports submitted to management

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Close coordination with security for all material and manpower gate movements

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
