Maintenance Engineer – Foundry Equipment

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the maintenance of foundry equipment and heavy industrial machinery. The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of foundry equipment, including EOT cranes, induction furnaces, compressors, sand mixers, sand reclaimers, and shot-blasting machines.
- Identify equipment failures, analyze breakdowns, and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize downtime.
- Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules for critical plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and coordinate with relevant teams for timely repairs.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring maintenance issues.
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, inspection checklists, and spare-parts records.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment layouts, and technical specifications.




- Use AutoCAD for reviewing and understanding engineering drawings.
- Maintain ISO-related maintenance documentation and follow established quality procedures.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Follow industrial safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping in the maintenance area.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
- 2–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Hands-on exposure to foundry equipment and heavy machinery.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and ISO documentation.
- Positive analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Preferred Industries

Foundry, Steel, Metal Manufacturing, Heavy Engineering, and Industrial Manufacturing.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with practical experience in maintaining EOT cranes, induction furnaces, compressors, sand mixers, reclaimers, and shot-blasting equipment will be preferred.
