WAITER

Position: Waiter
Department: Food & Beverage / Restaurant

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and attend to guests in a polite and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve food and beverages to guests according to restaurant standards.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and hygiene at all times.
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guest service.
- Assist guests with menu information and basic food/beverage queries.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and inform the supervisor when required.
- Check that all orders are served correctly and on time.
- Maintain proper grooming, uniform, personal hygiene, and qualified behaviour.
- Follow all restaurant SOPs, safety procedures, and company policies.




- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Waiter/Steward in a restaurant or hotel is preferred.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure during busy hours.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
- Good personal hygiene and grooming standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
