Job Description

Cateina Technologies is looking for an Automation Tester. As a prerequisite, the candidate should have 2-3 years of sound testing knowledge and experience on the below-mentioned skills and be willing to work with niche next-gen technologies.

Technical Skills

- API Testing: Hands-on experience in functional testing of REST and SOAP APIs using Postman, Newman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI, and REST Assured.
- Performance Testing: Experience in performance and load testing using JMeter.
- Security Testing: Knowledge of the OWASP Top 10, with hands-on penetration testing using OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite.
- CI/CD: Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- AI Skills: Skilled in using AI tools such as Claude, including the Postman connector, SoapUI test automation skill, and creating test artifacts (spreadsheets, Word documents).

Required competencies

2-3 years

- Adept in functional testing and reporting defects.
- Strong experience in writing test plans,



cases and scenarios
- Well versed with functional and stability testing.
- Functional testing, regression testing and compatibility testing on apps and websites.
- Corporate Banking, NBFC, and insurance domain expertise
- Payments, assets, Cards, LMS, and LOS testing knowledge/experience.
- Basic knowledge on Java, SQL, any automation tool is required

Skills

- Robust communication skills both written and verbal
- Completed any degree
