Job Summary

Rohan Corporation is looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Engineer – Civil to oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities at the project site in Mangalore. The candidate should have robust technical knowledge of civil construction, site execution, quality control, and project coordination, along with the ability to manage site operations efficiently and ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage daily civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Read and interpret structural, architectural, and civil engineering drawings.
- Monitor construction activities, including reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and site supervisors.
- Manage manpower, construction materials, machinery, and other site resources effectively.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and construction specifications are followed.
- Identify and resolve site-related technical issues in coordination with the concerned departments.
- Verify site measurements, quantities, BOQ,



and contractor bills.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation, material records, and inspection reports.
- Coordinate material requirements with the procurement team and minimize material wastage.
- Ensure compliance with construction safety regulations and maintain safe working conditions at the site.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure the quality and timely execution of work.
- Report project progress, delays, and site-related issues to management regularly.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Required Experience & Skills

- Minimum 7+ years of experience in civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, site execution, and quality control.
- Good understanding of structural and architectural drawings.
- Experience in handling contractors, subcontractors, manpower, and materials.
- Knowledge of construction measurements, BOQ, billing, and progress reporting.
- Strong site management, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage construction activities efficiently.
- Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.
