About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Consultant – Home Décor with experience in home décor, furniture, furnishings, wall art, framing or a related industry.

The role involves handling customer enquiries, understanding their requirements, recommending suitable wall décor products and helping customers make informed purchase decisions.

You will work across MahattaArt products such as Wallpaper, Wall Art, Frames, Print-to-Frame, Collages and other wall décor products, with a particular focus on framing, artwork and customised photo framing solutions.

This is a customer-facing sales and product consultation role. We are looking for someone with good aesthetic sense, strong communication skills and the ability to guide customers from enquiry through to purchase.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer enquiries received through the website, WhatsApp,



phone and other digital channels.
- Understand customer requirements, space, budget and aesthetic preferences.
- Recommend suitable wall décor products based on customer needs.
- Guide customers on colours, materials, sizes, finishes, frame styles and product combinations.
- Assist customers in selecting artwork, frames, mounts, glass, printing options and collage layouts.
- Advise customers on appropriate artwork sizes and frame arrangements for their walls.
- Explain product features, pricing, customisation and ordering options.
- Follow up with interested customers, address objections and convert enquiries into orders.
- Independently close routine customer orders and coordinate with the Sales Manager for complex enquiries.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling suitable products.
- Ensure customer orders are accurately configured before being sent to Production, including dimensions, materials and other specifications.
- Coordinate with Production and internal teams for order-related requirements.
- Maintain customer records, enquiry status, follow-ups and sales updates in the CRM.
- Track recurring customer requirements, product-related questions and feedback.
- Research home décor trends, competitor products, pricing and customer preferences.




- Share relevant customer feedback and product improvement suggestions with the Sales, Product and Marketing teams.

2–4 years of customer-facing sales or product consultation experience, preferably in:

- Design-led Lifestyle Brands

Candidates who have experience helping customers select products, making aesthetic recommendations, following up on enquiries and closing sales will be preferred.

Prior experience in custom framing or Print-to-Frame is an advantage but not mandatory. Product-specific training will be provided.

Skills Required

- Good aesthetic sense and understanding of colours, materials, proportions and finishes.
- Solid customer communication and consultation skills.
- Ability to recommend suitable products and confidently close sales.
- Good follow-up, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- Strong product understanding and attention to detail.
- Ability to explain product options, pricing and customisation clearly.
- Comfortable communicating with customers over phone and WhatsApp.
- Ability to understand customer budgets and recommend appropriate alternatives.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, websites and basic digital tools.
- Ability to conduct basic competitor and product research.
- Interest in home décor, wall art, framing and interior styling.
- Willingness to learn and develop detailed product knowledge.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
