Job Summary

Catalyst Education is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to drive business growth, manage sales activities, and support the achievement of revenue and admission targets.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in sales and business development, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate a team to achieve business objectives. Experience in the education or EdTech industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Lead, motivate, and coordinate the sales team to improve productivity and overall performance.
- Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, customer acquisition, and lead conversion.
- Monitor daily sales activities, follow-ups, conversion rates, and team performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, parents, and business partners.
- Guide team members on sales techniques, negotiation, customer engagement, and conversion strategies.
- Analyse sales reports, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with marketing, telecalling, and academic counselling teams to improve lead quality and conversions.
- Ensure proper lead management and timely follow-ups using CRM tools.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review targets, track progress, and improve sales performance.




- Prepare and present sales reports and performance updates to management.
- Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales and admission process.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or sales team management.
- Experience in the education, EdTech, or training industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and improve team performance.
- Good understanding of lead generation, sales funnels, customer acquisition, and conversion strategies.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a target-driven environment.
- A proactive mindset with a strong focus on business growth and customer satisfaction.
