About the Role

We’re seeking an Intermediate Accountant who delivers accurate work, takes ownership of assigned jobs, and wants to grow within Australian accounting and taxation.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Prepare individual, partnership, trust and company tax returns under senior supervision.
•⁠ ⁠Prepare financial statements, year-end workpapers and supporting schedules.




•⁠ ⁠Complete bank, balance sheet, GST and payroll reconciliations.
•⁠ ⁠Prepare BAS and IAS, including GST and PAYG calculations.
•⁠ ⁠Follow up on outstanding client information, resolve review queries and meet deadlines.
•⁠ ⁠Maintain clear workpapers and communicate progress with your team and Australian clients.

Qualifications & Experience

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 3+ years of Australian accounting and taxation experience within a KPO is essential.
•⁠ ⁠Practical experience preparing Australian tax returns and financial statements.
•⁠ ⁠Working knowledge of GST, BAS, IAS, PAYG and ATO compliance requirements.
•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in Xero and Australian tax preparation software.
•⁠ ⁠Strong written and spoken English, attention to detail and time management.
•⁠ ⁠Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
•⁠ ⁠CA/CPA studies and SMSF experience are advantageous.
