Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, remote role based in Kanpur. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and expanding BoltshipX’s presence in cross-border logistics for Indian businesses and individuals. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, negotiating contracts and pricing,



and collaborating with operations and product teams to tailor solutions to customer needs. The Business Development Manager will also track sales performance, prepare reports and forecasts, and gather market insights to inform strategy and improve BoltshipX’s offerings. Success in this role requires a robust focus on revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or related sectors.
• Strong skills in lead generation, relationship building, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Ability to understand client requirements and collaborate with internal teams to design suitable logistics solutions.
• Comfort with data-driven decision-making, including tracking KPIs, preparing sales reports, and using CRM tools.
