GCP Data Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced GCP Data Engineer with robust hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with GCP, Fivetran, Python, Data Vault 2.0, DBT, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions on GCP.
• Build and maintain reliable cloud-based data pipelines.
• Develop data processing and automation components using Python.
• Work with Fivetran for data integration and ingestion.
• Develop and maintain data transformation workflows using DBT.
• Apply Data Vault 2.0 concepts for data modelling and data-platform development.




• Use Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and cloud infrastructure management.
• Support CI/CD and automated deployment workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline and platform issues.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Follow data engineering and software development best practices.

Required Candidate Profile
• 6–10 years of relevant IT/Data Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in GCP-based Data Engineering.
• Strong programming experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with Fivetran and DBT.
• Positive knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 concepts.
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience working with GitHub Actions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
