Role Description The Accountant role at No is a full-time, on-site position based in Patna. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, preparing and maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank statements, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. The role includes preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, monitoring expenses, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Accountant will also support audits, maintain organized financial records, and collaborate with other team members to provide accurate financial information for decision-making.



This position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to meet deadlines in a structured office environment.
Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of basic accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar), as well as MS Excel and other office applications.
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Understanding of taxation concepts, compliance requirements, and support for audit procedures.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a corporate or business environment.
