About The Role

We are looking for a creative and productive Video Editor to produce engaging short-form video content, primarily reels for the 1% Club App.

The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a good sense of storytelling, and the ability to deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos and reels for the 1% Club App.
- Transform raw footage into engaging, polished, and easy-to-consume videos.
- Add captions, graphics, transitions, sound effects, and other visual elements where required.
- Maintain a fast turnaround time without compromising on quality.
- Work closely with the content team to understand briefs and execute edits efficiently.
- Ensure consistency in editing quality and visual style across videos.

Requirements

- Proven experience editing short-form videos, particularly Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or similar formats.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention in short-form content.
- Ability to edit quickly and manage multiple videos with tight deadlines.
- Good understanding of captions, audio editing, and basic motion graphics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to incorporate feedback quickly.
- Willingness to work from our Bangalore office.

Selection Process

Candidates must share a portfolio of previously edited short-form videos. Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a practical editing assignment
