Role Description The Accountant role at HighPro Feeds is a full-time, on-site position based in Aluva. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and account balances. The Accountant will prepare invoices, process payments, manage accounts payable and receivable, and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The role includes preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting activities,



and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The Accountant will also collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, respond to financial queries, and help improve accounting processes and controls.
Qualifications

- Strong foundation in financial accounting, including ledger management, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment processing.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to work with spreadsheets and financial data.
- Understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and standard accounting practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; qualified certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or feed industry accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
