Khalsa Engineering Solutions is expanding its Estimating & Quantity Takeoff Team in Pune.
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Takeoff Specialist with strong expertise in Concrete, Formwork & Reinforcing Steel (Rebar) to support complex industrial, commercial, institutional and high-rise construction projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review structural and architectural drawings and specifications
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for concrete, formwork and reinforcing steel
- Calculate concrete volumes for slabs, walls, columns, foundations and cores
- Measure formwork areas for walls, slabs, columns, cores and other structural elements
- Prepare detailed rebar quantity calculations and schedules
- Review drawing revisions and identify quantity and scope changes
- Prepare organized takeoff summaries and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with estimators and engineering teams to resolve drawing and scope discrepancies
- Maintain accurate project takeoff records and databases
- Deliver takeoffs with a high level of accuracy, consistency and traceability
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 5–10+ years of relevant quantity takeoff / estimating experience
- Strong background in concrete formwork and rebar takeoffs
- Excellent understanding of structural drawings
- Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, AutoCAD or similar software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet tender deadlines
HIGHLY PREFERRED
Experience with:
• High-rise concrete construction
• Industrial and institutional structures
• Rebar scheduling and quantity calculations
