Role Description The TIG Welder role at Food Craft Technology is a full-time, in office position based in Sonipat. The TIG Welder will fabricate, weld, and assemble stainless steel and other metals used in food processing equipment, following engineering drawings, weld symbols, and technical specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing materials, setting up welding equipment, performing precise TIG welds, inspecting weld quality, and finishing surfaces as required. The role involves working closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet project deadlines, adhere to safety and hygiene standards,



and maintain an organized work area. The TIG Welder may also assist in basic fitting, minor repairs, and continuous improvement activities to enhance production efficiency.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong TIG welding skills, including experience with stainless steel and thin-gauge materials used in food-grade equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication layouts.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of welding safety practices, PPE usage, and safe operation of welding and cutting tools.
- Candidates should possess basic skills in metal fabrication, such as cutting, grinding, fitting, and surface finishing.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, quality-focused work habits, and the ability to inspect and correct weld defects.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a production team environment.
- Relevant technical training or certification in welding from an accredited institute is preferred.
- Prior experience as a TIG Welder in manufacturing or fabrication, especially in food processing or similar industries, is an advantage.
