Role Description

We are looking for a Cloud Migration Engineer with hands-on experience in migrating enterprise workloads to AWS, Azure, or Nutanix NC2.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, cloud migration methodologies, and infrastructure fundamentals.

You will work closely with our Cloud Delivery and Project teams to plan, execute, troubleshoot, and successfully complete enterprise workload migrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute enterprise workload migrations from on-premises or cloud environments to AWS, Azure, or Nutanix NC2.
- Participate in workload discovery, assessment, and migration planning.
- Support the development and execution of migration strategies.
- Perform server migrations using cloud-native or third-party migration tools.
- Coordinate with project teams during migration, testing, validation, and cutover activities.
- Troubleshoot migration-related issues and minimize downtime during workload transitions.
- Perform post-migration validation and support workload stabilization.
- Maintain migration documentation,



execution checklists, and technical reports.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, or cloud migration.
- Hands-on experience migrating enterprise workloads to at least one of the following: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Nutanix NC2.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of cloud migration strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with migration tools such as AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), Azure Migrate, Nutanix Move, or equivalent solutions.
- Good understanding of virtualization technologies, particularly VMware and Nutanix.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, DNS, routing, and connectivity.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and project stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- AWS, Azure, or Nutanix certifications.
- Experience migrating VMware-based enterprise workloads.
- Exposure to large-scale data center or cloud migration projects.
- Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
