About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Fabric Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cloud data engineering, data modeling, and analytics, with a focus on implementing scalable and effective data platforms. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, supporting data modernization initiatives, and ensuring data governance and security.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement end-to-end data solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies.
- Build scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Real-Time Analytics solutions.
- Participate in data modernization and migration projects from legacy systems to Azure Fabric.
- Design data models, integration patterns, and governance frameworks to ensure data quality and security.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Support data governance, data security, and compliance initiatives.
- Assist in reviewing code and architecture designs to ensure best practices.
- Work closely with project teams to deliver solutions within timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills
- 4 to 8 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services.
Proficiency in:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Power BI
- SQL and Data Modeling
- ETL/ELT Design and Development
- Understanding of Lakehouse architecture and modern data ecosystems.
- Experience in performance tuning, data quality, and data governance.
- Good stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, and Python.
- Knowledge of AI/ML and advanced analytics.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Azure and Microsoft Fabric certifications are a plus.
- Experience working with global teams and clients.
