Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jamshedpur. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines, including milling and grinding equipment, to produce parts according to technical drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include selecting appropriate tools, loading materials, adjusting machine settings, and performing basic maintenance to ensure smooth and protected operations. The role involves inspecting finished components, documenting measurements, and collaborating with supervisors or engineers to address machining issues and optimize production. The CNC Machinist is expected to follow safety procedures,



maintain a clean work area, and contribute to continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
Qualifications

- Ability to operate and monitor CNC equipment, with strong Machine Operation skills and familiarity with industrial Machinery.
- Experience in Machining processes, including Milling, with the capacity to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices, including inspecting parts, using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers), and documenting results.
- Understanding of basic mechanical principles, tooling, and materials used in metalworking and precision manufacturing.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely in a production environment.
- Prior experience as a CNC machinist, machine operator, or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in machining, mechanical, or industrial trades is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Jamshedpur and collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
