Role Description The Crimping Machine Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Ludhiana. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring crimping machines to assemble hydraulic hoses and related components according to specifications. Day-to-day tasks include selecting appropriate fittings and hoses, adjusting machine settings, performing test crimps, and inspecting finished products to ensure proper dimensions, strength, and appearance. The operator is expected to follow safety procedures, maintain cleanliness around the work area,
and perform basic machine upkeep. The role also requires clear communication with supervisors and coworkers regarding production status, issues, and quality concerns, and accurate recording of work done for tracing and inventory purposes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Machine Operation and working with industrial Machinery.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, including inspection and measurement of finished parts.
- Candidates should possess skills in using Hand Tools safely and effectively in a workshop setting.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulic components is beneficial.
