Role Description The Civil Engineer role at KRFB is a full-time, on-site position based in Alappuzha. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing civil infrastructure projects, preparing drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Daily tasks include planning project activities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and contractors, performing site inspections, and monitoring construction progress and quality. The role also involves analyzing stormwater management requirements, assessing structural and road design elements, preparing technical reports,



and supporting project approvals and documentation. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Qualifications

- Solid proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and practical application of Civil Engineering principles.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on infrastructure or transportation-related projects, preferably in public or government sectors.
- Demonstrated ability in project Planning, including scheduling, resource coordination, and documentation.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management practices, drainage design, and relevant environmental and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and basic project management software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and site supervision skills, with attention to safety and quality control.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Valid professional registration or eligibility for registration with relevant engineering bodies is an advantage.
