Role Description The Mechanical Designer is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for creating and refining technical drawings and 3D models for EPCC-related mechanical systems, equipment, and components.



Day-to-day tasks include developing detailed designs using CAD tools, collaborating with mechanical engineers and project teams, and ensuring designs meet industry standards, safety requirements, and client specifications. The Mechanical Designer will participate in design reviews, support R&D; activities, prepare documentation, and coordinate with fabrication, installation, and quality teams to ensure design intent is realized in the field. The role also involves updating designs based on feedback, optimizing layouts for cost and efficiency, and maintaining accurate design records throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design, with the ability to apply core engineering principles to practical EPCC projects.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and Technical Drawing, including 2D drafting and 3D modeling for mechanical systems.
