MIS Executive - Sales - 2+ Years - Chennai

We are looking for an experienced MIS Executive - Sales to manage sales data, prepare business reports, and support sales and marketing teams with accurate, timely information. The role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Advanced Excel, primary and secondary sales data, SAP/SFA reporting, sales MIS, SKU-wise reporting, and sales incentive calculations.

Responsibilities

Compile and analyse daily sales data, including primary and secondary sales, and prepare regular MIS reports for business review.

Extract and analyse sales reports from SAP/SFA systems, covering brand-wise, SKU-wise, region-wise, and other business-performance metrics.

Cross-check system-generated reports against sales figures received from Business Heads, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate data reporting.

Develop and maintain Excel-based tracking systems, reporting formats, exception reports, and sales performance dashboards to support Sales and Marketing teams.

Support the MIS Manager with presentations, sales incentive calculations, Annual Business Plan (ABP) finalisation, and routine data maintenance.

Requirements

2-8 years of experience in MIS, Sales Reporting, Sales Operations, or Business Reporting, preferably in FMCG, beverages, retail, consumer durables,



or telecom.

Graduate in any discipline.

Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, including advanced formulas, lookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and large-data handling.

Hands-on experience working with sales data, primary and secondary sales reports, SAP/SFA systems, and brand/SKU/region-wise MIS.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to identify discrepancies and deliver reports within deadlines.

Key: This is a sales-focused MIS role, not a general administrative or data-entry position. Candidates should have hands-on experience analysing sales figures, preparing structured MIS reports, and working extensively with Excel. Experience in sales incentive calculations and ABP preparation will be an advantage.
