Team Leader – Statutory & Tax Audit

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to manage statutory and tax audit engagements, lead a team of interns, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery for mid to large-sized clients.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

Lead a team of 4–5 interns, allocate tasks, and oversee audit engagements to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Mentor and train team members, review their work, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Audit & Compliance

Plan, execute, and monitor statutory and tax audits in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Independently manage and execute statutory audits, tax audits,



and ITR filings for mid to large-sized clients.
Review audit working papers, financial statements, and tax computations for completeness and correctness.

Delivery & Quality

Ensure timely completion of audits by setting deadlines, resolving bottlenecks, and coordinating with clients.
Identify audit risks, suggest process improvements, and ensure adherence to best practices in audit methodology.

Client Management

Coordinate with clients on audit requirements and address their queries.
Provide value-added recommendations to clients.
