Role Description The Audit Associate role at Kapoor & Chauhan LLP is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The role involves assisting in planning and executing financial audits, including testing internal controls, reviewing financial statements, and documenting audit findings. The Audit Associate will analyze financial data, verify supporting documentation, and ensure that audits comply with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.



Day-to-day responsibilities include working with senior team members, preparing work papers, drafting reports, and communicating observations to clients and internal stakeholders. The role also requires maintaining organized audit files, meeting engagement deadlines, and contributing to continuous improvement of audit methodologies.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance and understanding of Financial Statements.
• Proficiency in Auditing and hands-on experience or coursework in Financial Audits.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify variances or risks.
• Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to follow structured audit processes and documentation standards
