Manager – Tutoring Operations

CollegePass is hiring a hands-on Tutoring Operations Manager to recruit tutors, coordinate demos, manage class schedules, support students and parents, and ensure dependable delivery across our tutoring programmes.
You will be the operational link between families, tutors and the academic team. This role requires someone who communicates clearly, follows through consistently and takes ownership of issues until they are resolved.

Key Responsibilities
Tutor Recruitment, Hiring and Onboarding
• Identify hiring requirements by subject, curriculum, student demand and tutor availability.
• Source suitable tutors through job platforms, referrals, professional networks and direct outreach.
• Screen applications and conduct initial conversations to assess experience, communication, availability and suitability.
• Coordinate teaching demonstrations and subject evaluations with academic leads.
• Manage candidate follow-ups, references, documentation and onboarding.
• Explain delivery standards, scheduling processes,



reporting requirements and communication expectations.
• Maintain a pool of approved tutors and backup teachers across subjects and curricula.

Demo Coordination and Student Onboarding
• Understand the student’s subject, curriculum, level, learning needs and availability before arranging a demo.
• Coordinate suitable tutors, confirm appointments and send joining instructions and reminders.
• Ensure demos start on time and collect feedback from parents, students and tutors.
• Coordinate subsequent steps with the relevant team and ensure a smooth transition into regular classes.

Class Scheduling and Teacher Coordination
• Maintain accurate schedules across students, tutors and time zones.
• Match student requirements with approved tutors and available teaching capacity.
