Job Description / Responsibilities
- Responsible for mechanical maintenance of TMT Rolling Mill equipment.
- Perform breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability.
- Conduct inspection and maintenance of gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings and Cardan shafts.
- Perform Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), vibration monitoring and precision laser shaft alignment.
- Coordinate manpower allocation and supervise maintenance activities.
- Prepare daily maintenance reports and maintain maintenance schedules using Microsoft Excel.
- Support shutdown planning, maintenance execution and equipment inspection.
- Coordinate with stores for spare parts availability and maintenance materials.
- Identify recurring mechanical problems and support root cause analysis to improve equipment performance.
