About us:
Shrushti Vertex is a technology studio building mobile apps, web apps, SaaS products and custom ERP systems for founders and businesses around the world.

Some of our recent work: a fintech wallet with separate apps for teens, parents and merchants, and a complete ERP for a diamond business that tracks every stone across 13 stages and two cities.

The role
Our team is developers and designers. You'd be the first person whose full-time job is finding clients and talking to them.

This is a remote, full-time business development role covering outbound outreach, inbound lead handling, proposal writing and follow-ups.

Working hours are IST. On cold-calling days, your shift moves to match the business hours of the clients you're calling.

Responsibilities
1. Research potential clients and reach out by email, LinkedIn and phone. Every message starts from a real problem you found in their business, not a template.
2. Reply to inbound leads quickly, understand what they need,



and get them onto a call with our team.
3. Write outreach messages and proposals. We handle the technical detail; you own the communication.
4. Follow up until there's a yes or a no. No lead goes quiet.
5. Keep the CRM current and share a short weekly update on what's working and what isn't.

Expectations
- 1–3 years in sales, business development or client-facing work, ideally in IT, software or digital services
- Solid written English. You can write a 100-word email a busy founder actually reads.
- Comfort speaking with business owners in other countries, including cold calls
- Follow-up discipline, and a thick skin about "no" and silence
- Organisation. You can keep 50+ conversations moving without dropping one.
- Self-driven. You plan your own day and report honestly, including when the numbers are low.
