Role Description The English and Social Studies Teacher will deliver engaging lessons to middle school learners, focusing on language skills, literature, and core social studies concepts. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing lesson plans, designing assessments, grading student work, and providing constructive feedback to support academic progress. The teacher will facilitate classroom discussions, integrate world history and civics topics, and create learning activities that foster analytical thinking and clear communication.



Additional duties include maintaining classroom discipline, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, participating in school events, and meeting with families or guardians when required. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Garhshankar.
Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Social Studies and World History, with the ability to connect historical events to contemporary issues.
- Experience with Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, particularly for Middle School learners.
- Relevant teaching qualification or degree in Education, English, Social Studies, or a related field.
- Prior classroom teaching experience at the middle school level or equivalent.
