Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Bangalore Urban. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), conducting cost estimations, and supporting tenders and contract documentation. Daily tasks include monitoring project costs, assisting in cost planning, and providing regular cost reporting to project stakeholders. The role involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and suppliers to ensure accurate measurements, valuations, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.



The Quantity Surveyor will also help identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance with relevant standards.
Qualifications

- Strong skills in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs, with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
- Cost Control and Cost Management skills to monitor budgets, manage variations, and support financial decision-making.
- Experience in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to forecast expenditures, track progress, and prepare periodic cost reports.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying or estimation software; familiarity with construction contracts and standards.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams on-site in Bangalore Urban.
- Prior experience in construction or infrastructure projects in a similar role is an advantage.
