As a Software Technical Lead at SHERRY, you will take end-to-end ownership of

designing, building, and maintaining critical software systems that power advanced

parking management solutions. This hands-on role emphasizes technical leadership,

architectural decision-making, and direct contribution to production code, while

mentoring and elevating the engineering team. You will collaborate closely with product

managers and architects to translate business needs into robust technical solutions,

ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

● Own the technical design, implementation, and production health of complex software

systems from architecture through deployment.

● Make architecture and technology decisions that balance immediate delivery with

long-term maintainability, documenting trade-offs.

● Write and review production code for critical system components,



setting high standards

for code quality and reliability.

● Lead engineers through design and code reviews, providing mentorship and fostering a

culture of engineering excellence.

● Drive best practices in testing, automation, CI/CD, and observability to ensure robust

and scalable systems.

● Ensure the reliability, scalability, performance, and security of owned systems, leading

root-cause investigations for production issues.

● Identify and address technical debt through practical, incremental improvements.

● Collaborate with product managers and architects to translate business requirements

into effective technical solutions.

Required Skills

● 12–15 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years setting

technical direction for teams or major systems.

● Strong hands-on coding skills in Python or Java, with deep experience in backend

development.

● Proven expertise in designing distributed, cloud-native systems involving APIs, relational

databases, caching, messaging, and failure handling.

● Demonstrated ownership of systems in production, including incident response and

root-cause analysis.

● Experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.

● Familiarity with observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.

● Ability to lead and influence engineers through technical expertise and clear

communication, without relying on authority.





● Sound technical judgment and the ability to explain trade-offs to both technical and

non-technical stakeholders.

● Experience with computer vision or ML in production, including vehicle detection or

license plate recognition using PyTorch, ONNX, TensorRT, or NVIDIA DeepStream.

● Edge or IoT experience with NVIDIA Jetson devices, RTSP camera streams, device fleet

management, and remote updates.

● Stream processing expertise with Kafka and Apache Flink, including stateful processing

and checkpointing.

● Production experience with enterprise SaaS security requirements such as SSO/OAuth,

multi-tenancy, audit logging, and SOC 2 or ISO 27001.

● Exposure to Azure cloud services.

● Familiarity with Vue.js and TypeScript for effective collaboration with frontend teams.

● Experience in product companies building B2B SaaS platforms for daily operational use.

● Background in domains such as parking, smart city, mobility, ITS, access control, or

physical-world IoT products.
