Role Description

The Presales Engineer role at Redacto is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role involves partnering with the sales team to understand customer requirements, deliver technical product demonstrations, and design tailored solutions that address data privacy and security needs.

The Presales Engineer will provide technical guidance during the sales cycle, respond to RFPs and technical queries, and support proof-of-concept implementations. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and engineering teams on integration scenarios, preparing solution architectures, documenting use cases, and offering technical support during customer evaluations. The role also requires staying current with data privacy, security,



and enterprise technology trends to ensure informed, credible engagement with prospects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Presales and Sales skills, with experience supporting enterprise technology or security solutions.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support skills to assist customers during evaluations, pilots, and post-demo follow-ups.
- Candidates should possess Integration skills, including familiarity with APIs, data pipelines, and connecting SaaS or on-premise systems.
- Candidates should possess Security knowledge, preferably in data privacy, information security, or cybersecurity domains.
- Relevant experience working with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, or technical decision-makers in B2B or enterprise environments.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- Robust communication, presentation, and documentation skills, with comfort in customer-facing discussions and demos.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with data protection frameworks, compliance standards (such as GDPR or similar), and cloud architectures is an advantage.
