Company Description FinCareer Edtech Technologies Pvt. Ltd., operating under the brand Finedge Training Institute, is an emerging education and skilling organization focused on careers in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector. The institute designs practical, industry-oriented training programs that bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world requirements. Training covers core areas such as banking products, insurance fundamentals, financial services, investment basics, sales skills, customer relationship management, and professional communication. Recognized as a startup by the Government of Karnataka and DPIIT, and supported through academic collaboration with AISECT Group of Universities, the organization is committed to enhancing employability for graduates and young professionals. Its vision is to build a platform that empowers individuals with applied BFSI knowledge and prepares them for entry-level roles across banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, and financial institutions.

Role Description The Co-Founder & Investor will play a key leadership role in shaping the strategic direction, growth, and operations of Finedge Training Institute. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining and refining the business model, overseeing training program development, and guiding sales, marketing, and partnership initiatives. The role involves collaborating with academic and industry partners, supporting team building and mentoring,



and ensuring that programs remain aligned with BFSI sector needs. The Co-Founder & Investor will also participate in financial planning, capital allocation, governance, and performance monitoring to drive sustainable growth and long-term value.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in the BFSI sector, edtech, or vocational training, with a transparent understanding of industry trends and employability requirements.
- Background in business strategy, operations management, or entrepreneurship, with the ability to scale an early-stage organization.
- Financial acumen, including investment planning, budgeting, and resource allocation suited to a growth-focused startup.
- Skills in stakeholder management, partnership development, and institutional collaboration with universities, corporates, or industry bodies.
- Ability to drive sales and marketing initiatives, particularly in education or skill development, and support brand building in target markets.
- Leadership capabilities for hiring, mentoring, and motivating cross-functional teams, with a collaborative and inclusive management style.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the organization to investors, partners, and academic institutions.
- Commitment to learner-centric education, ethical business practices, and long-term impact in the BFSI skilling ecosystem.
- Preferred: Prior co-founding or senior leadership experience in a startup, and a relevant degree in business, finance, or a related field.
