Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor L1 and L2 engineering teams, ensuring effective operations and technical support.
- Manage day-to-day configuration, administration, and monitoring of network security infrastructure in a 24/7 setting.
- Investigate, isolate, and resolve Proxy incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and ensure ticket closure within SLA.
- Commission, implement, and integrate Proxy solutions with Active Directory (AD), IAM, SIEM, SOAR, and email security tools.
- Conduct daily performance checks, periodic audits, security patch updates, and compliance activities.
- Coordinate with OEMs for Technical Assistance Center (TAC) support, Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), replacement, and Proxy reconfiguration.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, inventory records, and as-built network diagrams.
- Troubleshoot issues across OSI Layers 1–7 and perform packet capture and analysis using Wireshark and PCAP.
- Design, deploy, and maintain Proxy solutions and security policies across DC, DR, cloud, and branch-office environments.
- Manage Proxy policies, exceptions, incidents, problems, service requests, changes, configurations, and capacity planning.
- Automate security workflows and integrate tools using scripting, SOAR, REST APIs, and SDKs.
- Coordinate with Helpdesk, IT, application teams, and other stakeholders to resolve high-severity incidents.

Ideal Candidate

- Profile: Strong Proxy and Network Security professional with hands-on troubleshooting, configuration, and policy-management expertise.
- Proxy Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing Proxy solutions such as Netskope, McAfee, or equivalent platforms, with strong knowledge of their management consoles.
- Implementation & Integration: Experience commissioning and deploying Proxy solutions, integrating them with AD, IAM, SIEM, SOAR, and email tools,



and implementing security policies across DC, DR, cloud, and branch-office environments.
- Operating Systems & Troubleshooting: Experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix, packet capture and analysis using Wireshark/PCAP, and troubleshooting across OSI Layers 1–7.
- Policy & Incident Management: Expertise in managing policies and exceptions, handling ITSM processes, and using network monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Automation & Security Integration: Experience with scripting, SOAR, REST APIs, SDKs, and integrations with AD, IDAM, PAM, SIEM, and other information security tools.
- Incident Resolution: Proven ability to investigate and resolve Proxy incidents, perform RCA, coordinate high-severity incident resolution, and ensure SLA compliance and reporting.
- OEM & Compliance: Experience coordinating OEM support, TAC, RMA, replacements, reconfiguration, patching, upgrades, compliance audits, and closure of audit findings.
- Technical Documentation: Ability to prepare and maintain as-built diagrams, security documentation, inventory records, SOPs, runbooks, and ITSM knowledge-base articles.
- Leadership: Ability to lead, guide, and mentor L1 and L2 engineers.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication, technical ownership, packet-analysis skills, and the ability to resolve complex issues under pressure.
- Domain Experience: Banking-industry experience is preferred. Candidates with equivalent technical expertise from other industries are also acceptable.
- Shift & Work Environment: Must be comfortable working in a 24/7 rotational NOC shift environment at the client site.
- Preferred Certification: Netskope or McAfee Proxy product certification.
