Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Service Engineer role based in Mumbai, with a combination of on-site work at customer locations and some work-from-home activities, as business needs allow. The Service Engineer will install, maintain, and repair imaging equipment, perform routine preventive maintenance, and respond to service calls to diagnose and resolve technical issues. The role involves conducting equipment checks, documenting service activities, coordinating with internal teams and vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Service Engineer will provide technical support to customers, offer guidance on proper equipment usage,



and maintain explicit communication with stakeholders about service status and timelines. Occasional travel within the region may be required for field service assignments.

Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve equipment issues effectively.
- Hands-on experience in field service, including on-site installation, calibration, and customer interaction.
- Maintenance and repair capabilities for electro-mechanical or medical imaging systems, with attention to safety and quality.
- Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with customers, peers, and management.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (electronics, biomedical, electrical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
- Comfort with using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and basic computer applications for reporting and documentation.
- Willingness to travel locally, manage time independently, and respond to urgent service requests when needed.
