Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Chembur Mumbai. The Junior Accountant will support daily accounting operations, including recording journal entries, processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining general ledgers. Responsibilities include assisting with preparation of financial statements, supporting tax and compliance filings, and contributing to MIS reports and basic financial analysis.



The role involves collaborating with senior team members, responding to client queries, and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date. The Junior Accountant will also help adopt and use accounting and reporting tools as part of the firm’s technology-driven finance processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong foundational accounting skills, including knowledge of journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and basic financial statements.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with tax and compliance processes, such as GST, TDS, statutory filings, and support for audits.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting and productivity software, such as Tally or similar ERP systems, Excel, and basic dashboard or reporting tools.
- Candidates should possess solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in teams, interact with clients professionally, and manage time effectively.
- A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; progress toward CA, CMA, or similar professional qualifications will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in the CA firm or commercial accoutant office will be preferred choice.
