Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. This role will prepare and review financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The Senior Accountant will analyze financial data, monitor cash flows,



and provide insights to support management decision-making and operational efficiency. Responsibilities also include coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, improving financial processes and controls, and maintaining accurate documentation and records. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as MS Excel and other spreadsheet tools.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow analysis within corporate or financial services environments.
- Understanding of direct and indirect tax regulations, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and present financial data clearly.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certification (CA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in debt collection, financial services, or related industries.
