Roles & Responsibilities

- Translate operational requirements and user problem statements into Concepts of Operations (ConOps), capability briefs, and technical specifications.
- Build and manage relationships with Army, Air Force, and Navy formations, directorates, and evaluation teams for tactical and logistical use cases.
- Develop and drive responses to RFIs, RFPs, and trial directives, guiding user trials and field evaluations from planning through completion.
- Translate field feedback and operational requirements into structured inputs for engineering teams to improve product development.
- Represent BonV in defence policy and procurement forums aligned with DAP 2020, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and the IDDM framework.
- Drive the positioning, evaluation, and adoption of tactical and logistics Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) solutions for the Indian Armed Forces and allied users.

Ideal Candidate

- Profile: Retired Armed Forces veteran with strong experience in user-side defence acquisition, capability development, and aviation/UAS operations.
- Overall Experience: Approximately 12 years of total experience, primarily in the Indian Army, Air Force, Navy, or paramilitary forces, with at least 6 months of corporate/private-sector experience.
- Defence Acquisition: Hands-on experience in user-side defence procurement, capability development, trials, or equipment evaluation.
- Aviation/UAS Domain: Background in aviation or unmanned aerial systems, including flying branch, Air Traffic Control (ATC),



aviation logistics, air operations, or equivalent experience.
- Operational Requirements & Specifications: Ability to translate operational needs into ConOps, capability briefs, and technical specifications that engineering teams can implement.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage with serving senior officers, defence directorates, and evaluation teams, while managing relationships and representing the company in procurement and evaluation forums.
- RFI/RFP & Field Trials: Experience shaping RFI/RFP responses, interpreting trial directives, coordinating user trials, and managing field evaluations end to end.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to communicate structured field requirements to engineering teams and bridge the gap between operational users and product development.

- Company: BonV Aero, a company developing autonomous heavy-lift drones, counter-UAS (C-UAS) systems, and tactical drone solutions for the Indian Armed Forces and allied users.
- Reporting To: Head of Government Affairs & Public Policy.
- Location: Delhi NCR, with field travel to defence formations.
- Employment Type: Full time.
- Role Focus: Capability development and customer success, driving how tactical and logistics UAS solutions are shaped, positioned, evaluated, and adopted by defence users.
