Role Description The N2 Certified Japanese Language Trainer will deliver structured online lessons focusing on JLPT N2-level grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and listening skills. This remote role involves preparing lesson plans and learning materials, conducting live interactive sessions, assigning and reviewing homework, and providing individual feedback to learners. The trainer will regularly assess learner progress, clarify complex concepts, and adapt teaching strategies to different learning styles. Responsibilities also include participating in curriculum refinement,



maintaining accurate records of learner performance, and collaborating with other trainers to uphold the institute’s teaching standards. This is a full-time remote role that requires consistent availability for scheduled classes and student support.
Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Japanese language, preferably JLPT N2 or higher certification, with clear understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and usage.
- Experience in teaching or training, especially in Japanese language instruction, with ability to design structured lessons and explain complex concepts simply.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese, with strong interpersonal skills to engage learners in an online environment.
- Comfort with remote teaching tools and digital platforms, including video conferencing, online whiteboards, and learning management systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain consistency in class schedules and learner support.
- Passion for teaching, patience, cultural sensitivity, and a learner-centric approach to education.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; degree in languages, education, or related field is an advantage.
- Prior experience preparing students for JLPT or similar language proficiency examinations is highly beneficial.
