Role Description The Audio Video Technician is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting and maintaining audio and visual systems used for virtual events, webinars, trainings, and meetings. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and monitoring video conferencing sessions, configuring microphones, speakers, cameras, and projectors, and adjusting lighting to ensure clear and consistent presentation quality. The technician will troubleshoot AV issues in real time, perform routine system checks, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth delivery of online programming.



This role also involves documenting equipment configurations, recommending improvements to AV workflows, and staying current with best practices in remote audio and video production.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated proficiency with Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including setup, configuration, and basic maintenance.
- Strong Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving technical issues quickly in live or virtual environments.
- Experience with Video Conferencing platforms and tools used for webinars, remote meetings, and online training.
- Working knowledge of Lighting and Projectors for presentations, recordings, and live-streamed events.
- Relevant experience in technical support, AV production, or IT helpdesk for remote or hybrid environments.
- Comfort working independently, managing multiple tasks, and communicating clearly with non-technical team members.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts and computer hardware is beneficial.
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent practical experience in audio/video technology, IT, or a related field.
