New Delhi

We are looking for a highly driven, performance-obsessed Lead Creative Strategist to own our entire creative ecosystem, from social media and content strategy to performance marketing creatives, creative testing, and scaling winning concepts.

This is not a conventional social media role. We are looking for someone who understands that creative is one of the biggest drivers of paid marketing performance and knows how to turn consumer insights, cultural trends, product USPs, and performance data into creatives that convert.

You will own the creative process end to end: identifying opportunities, developing concepts, building creative briefs, directing shoots, producing and editing content, analysing ad performance, identifying winning and losing creatives, and continuously feeding those insights back into the next round of creative production.

Your mandate is to build a creative engine capable of developing, testing, and iterating on 50–100 creative assets per week, depending on production complexity, with a strong emphasis on speed, quality, learning, and performance.

You should be equally comfortable thinking strategically, getting your hands dirty with execution, analysing Meta Ads performance, and making decisive calls on what to scale, what to iterate, and what to stop.We need someone who thrives in an intense, fast-paced, high-energy environment, takes complete ownership of outcomes, and can move from an idea to a live creative without unnecessary layers of management.

The goal is simple: build a repeatable creative system that consistently produces high-performing content, improves customer acquisition efficiency, and drives profitable growth.

1. End-to-End Performance Creative Strategy

You will own the strategy behind every creative we produce for paid acquisition, retargeting, organic social, and brand-building campaigns.

- Develop a comprehensive performance creative strategy aligned with business objectives, revenue targets, CAC goals, ROAS, and conversion rates.
- Identify the creative angles, messaging, formats, hooks, and visual approaches most likely to resonate with our target audience.
- Translate product features, benefits, ingredients, fragrances, differentiators, and consumer pain points into compelling advertising narratives.
- Develop creative concepts across UGC, founder-led content, product demonstrations, testimonials, problem-solution ads, educational content, product comparisons, lifestyle content, and aspirational brand storytelling.
- Build a systematic approach to testing different hooks, scripts, opening frames, CTAs, offers, formats, lengths, and storytelling structures.
- Ensure every creative has a clear hypothesis, audience, objective, and reason to exist.
- Develop creative strategies for prospecting, retargeting, customer acquisition, new product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
- Understand the relationship between creative performance, audience intent, landing pages, offers, and the overall customer journey.

2. Build and Operate a High-Velocity Creative Engine

- Build and manage a creative production pipeline capable of delivering approximately 50–100 creative assets per week, including variations, iterations, and new concepts.
- Establish a structured weekly workflow covering research, ideation, scripting, production, editing, approvals, deployment, analysis, and iteration.

- Develop creative calendars and production schedules that keep the team consistently ahead of upcoming campaign requirements.
- Turn a small number of strong concepts into multiple meaningful variations without relying on superficial changes alone.
- Create systems for generating new hooks, angles, scripts, storyboards, headlines, visual treatments, and ad variations at scale.
- Maintain an organised creative library with naming conventions, campaign tags, concept IDs, performance history, and learnings.
- Build a continuous feedback loop between paid marketing results and the creative production pipeline.
- Reduce production bottlenecks and unnecessary approval cycles while maintaining brand quality.
- Establish standard operating procedures, creative templates, briefing formats, and testing frameworks that allow output to scale without compromising learning quality.

3. Creative Performance Analysis: Know What Works and Why

- Monitor creative-level performance across Meta Ads and other relevant paid channels.
- Analyse metrics including spend, impressions, CPM, CTR, CPC, thumb-stop or hook rate, hold rate, video retention, landing page views, conversion rate, CPA/CAC, ROAS, and purchase volume.
- Identify winning creatives, emerging trends, creative fatigue, underperforming concepts, and opportunities for further testing.
- Understand the difference between a creative that attracts attention and one that actually generates profitable customers.
- Diagnose performance issues by distinguishing between weak hooks, poor messaging, low engagement, weak offers, conversion problems, and potential audience or landing-page issues.
- Identify which elements are contributing to success: the opening three seconds, product demonstration, offer, creator, script, visual treatment, testimonial, or CTA.
- Make clear decisions on which creatives to scale, iterate, test further, or discontinue.
- Conduct regular creative performance reviews and communicate findings to the growth and leadership teams.
- Convert performance data into actionable briefs for the next production cycle.

4. Continuous Testing, Iteration and Scaling

- Design and maintain a structured creative testing roadmap.
- Develop clear hypotheses for each new concept and prioritise experiments based on expected impact, learning potential, and production effort.
- Run controlled tests wherever practical to understand which creative variables are driving performance.
- Develop multiple iterations of promising concepts, exploring new hooks, openings, scripts, creators, visual formats, product demonstrations, and messaging angles.
- Distinguish between testing a new concept and testing a variation of an existing winner.
- Identify repeatable creative patterns and turn them into scalable creative frameworks.
- Refresh creatives proactively when performance shows signs of fatigue.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of new concepts so growth does not depend on a small number of winning ads.
- Document learnings from both successful and unsuccessful tests to prevent repeated mistakes.

- Work closely with the performance marketing team to align creative testing with campaign structure, budget allocation, and scaling decisions.

5. Creative Production, Shoots and Content Execution
- Write scripts, hooks, headlines, captions, shot lists, storyboards, and detailed creative briefs.
- Plan and direct product shoots, UGC shoots, creator collaborations, founder-led content, and campaign productions.
- Brief and manage creators, editors, designers, photographers, videographers, and production partners.
- Ensure that shoots are planned efficiently to generate a high volume of usable assets from each production day.
- Identify opportunities to capture multiple concepts, formats, hooks, and variations in a single shoot.
- Review edits and provide precise, actionable feedback on pacing, storytelling, visual hierarchy, opening frames, subtitles, product visibility, and CTAs.
- Use tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, Photoshop, or AI-assisted creative tools to create or refine assets when needed.
- Maintain a high standard of execution across both rapid-turnaround performance ads and more polished brand content.
- Manage production timelines, asset delivery, and creative quality control.

6. Consumer Research, Competitor Intelligence and Creative Inspiration

- Conduct ongoing research into consumer behaviour, purchase motivations, objections, unmet needs, and product discovery patterns.
- Analyse customer reviews, testimonials, comments, DMs, feedback, and frequently asked questions to identify compelling messaging opportunities.
- Study competitor advertising, creative patterns, offers, positioning, creator partnerships, and campaign strategies.
- Use Meta Ads Library, social media research, customer feedback, and relevant advertising intelligence tools to identify emerging opportunities.
- Develop a structured repository of competitor references, creative inspiration, hooks, scripts, and tested concepts.
- Identify gaps in the market and develop differentiated creative angles rather than producing derivative content.
- Translate consumer and competitor insights into specific creative experiments and production briefs.

Who We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, paid social, or D2C growth.
- Demonstrable experience developing and testing performance marketing creatives, ideally for consumer brands.
- Strong understanding of Meta Ads creative performance and the relationship between creative, CAC, ROAS, and conversion.
- Experience building structured creative testing systems rather than producing isolated campaigns.
- Ability to develop strong concepts, scripts, hooks, briefs, and iterations at speed.
- Experience analysing creative-level data and turning results into specific next steps.
- Strong understanding of short-form video, UGC, creator-led ads, product storytelling, and direct-response creative.
- Excellent written communication and the ability to provide clear creative direction.
- Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple creative workstreams simultaneously.
- Comfort working hands-on with editing, design, research, analytics, and production tools.
- A high level of ownership, urgency, accountability, and attention to detail.

Strong advantages

- Experience scaling a D2C brand in beauty, personal care, skincare, fragrance, fashion, wellness, or another visually driven consumer category.
