The Department of Political Science at Ashoka University invites applications for Visiting Faculty positions (open rank) for the Spring 2027 semester (18 January - 8 May).
The Department of Political Science has 8 permanent members with research interests which include but are not limited to Indian politics, comparative politics, peace and conflict studies, political economy, political theory, history of political thought, and legal theory. The Department has a major and minor and contributes to the Politics, Philosophy, and Economics major.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates are expected to have a strong teaching record and a competitive research profile. We prefer candidates with a completed PhD, but are willing to consider advanced PhD students with a strong teaching record as instructor of record. The successful applicant will teach 2 courses. Instruction will be in-person.
We look for candidates who can teach quantitative research methods. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
