Technical Business Analyst
Function / Department: Information Technology
Job Purpose:
The Business Analyst will work closely with Business, Technology, Product, Operations, and Project teams to understand, analyze, and document business requirements for banking applications and initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Evaluate business processes, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from various stakeholders.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, and Process Flows. • Conduct requirement workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Business Users.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
• Participate in UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and sign-off processes.
• Analyze and document API and system integration requirements, including request/response mappings, validation rules, error scenarios, and callback flows.




• Work with external/internal systems to understand integration requirements and dependencies.
• Define functional requirements covering retry, fallback, status management, reconciliation, and exception handling.
• Understand high-volume transaction workflows and capture relevant non-functional requirements such as SLA, latency, availability, and scalability.
• Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to ensure requirements are technically implementable and testable.
Technical Skills
• SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Understanding of API integrations and system interfaces.
• Solid documentation and process mapping skills.
Experience: 5-10 Years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst with Banking Domain exposure
