Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in automation testing, specifically with a strong emphasis on Playwright and Cypress. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our applications.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Cypress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create test plans.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Continuously enhance the automation framework and testing processes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Report and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Mentor junior QA team members on best practices in automation testing.
Mandatory Skills
• Strong expertise in Playwright for web automation.
• Proficient in Cypress for end-to-end testing.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the pipeline.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with other automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience in performance testing and security testing.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in QA Automation.
• Proven track record of successful automation projects.
